Hi guys! If you saw my last progress report, you’ll have noticed that it was a little different – and that I’m now trying to update on a more regular basis, so be prepared to see these posts most Sundays (yep, I’m aware it’s Monday already 😉 ) from now on.
The gist of that last post was that I really need to put more work into my Japanese and I have spent the last few days taking steps to get me there. I’ve put together a new Japanese resources page so that all of my resources are in one, easy-to-find location (so from now on, I’ll be linking resources within the text of a post as usual, but instead of having a list at the bottom, I’ll be updating the resources page instead). I’ve also made a spreadsheet study plan, though I’m still fine-tuning that one. I’m taking part in an email course made by Olly at I Will Teach You a Language that aims to improve your time management too, and I’m hoping that’s going to have one of the biggest positive effects. It’s only a week-long course and if you want to take part too, then I guess just sign up for his email list? I got the email about it earlier today.
I’ve also studied a little Japanese over the last week, though not all that much. It’s mostly been refreshing what I’d learnt before the Easter holidays and whatnot so that I can get back on track again. Because of this, I guess I don’t have much to report – except that I’m looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.
Still, I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t set a few teeny goals:
- Complete the hiragana section of the MLC Hiragana and Katakana Worksheets
- Complete two Easy Japanese lessons
- Watch one more episode of Last Cinderella (ラスト シンデレラ)
I’m hosting visitors from Thursday until Tuesday, so I know I’m going to be sneaking in study sessions here and there – but tomorrow and Wednesday are pretty light days, work-wise, so I’m optimistic about reaching my goals!
Spring is definitely springing! How are you feeling about those goals you set at New Year – or do you have other things in mind now? Let me know and have a great week! 🙂
