Six days of Guernésiais and with the help of the Guernsey Language Commission and, well, Shakespeare, I’ve definitely learnt something!
A little late on the draw with this intro post but it’s time to talk about Guernésiais—or, a name you’re more likely to have heard of, Guernsey French. That’s right, I’m onto my third language in my 20 Endangered Languages…
2019 might have been the International Year of Indigenous Languages (and hey, if you were interested in that, then keep your eyes out for 2022-2032!), but I didn’t want to lose any of the motivation that year brought heading into…
