May the Fourth be with you

Hey, guys! You didn’t think I was going to skip Star Wars day, now did you? Of course, they are films and so not necessarily related to languages (though you should read this article if you want to find out more about that), so what I’ve done is made something a little special for you instead.

So you probably know that in December of this year, there’s a new Star Wars film coming out, titled Rogue One. It’s set before the events of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (or, just, Star Wars) and I think it looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun. Therefore, what I decided to do was put together some exercises for you guys, based on the trailer.

Now, these exercises are only available in English and German – as they’re the only two languages I can use that well. Underneath the trailer in each language, you’ll find a link to the PDFs of the exercises, answers and transcript. Enjoy!

So first, in English:

And, auf Deutsch:

Let me know if you download the exercises (and, especially, if you spot any mistakes)! When it comes to the discussion questions, feel free to write your answers in the comments if you like – I’m always happy to have a little Star Wars chat! 🙂
