Tadoku: Halfway Point

Yesterday was the fifteenth, so we’re officially halfway through this month of the Tadoku challenge!

As it is, I’ve already passed my target of 250 pages, because I’ve read 315, yay! Most of that has been Harry Potter und der Feuerkelch, but I’ve been dipping in and out of a couple of other German books too (Studie in Scharlachrot, Ein gutes Omen). For Mandarin, I finished A Little Princess, but haven’t had much motivation to read anything else – I’ve also read three pages of Los juegos del hambre but it’s taking a long time.

Since I’ve already hit my target I’m hoping to now get to 475 pages by the end of January (I have a lot of deadlines that last week). I’m also still hoping I’ll finish Harry Potter und der Feuerkelch; I’ve got a little under 200 pages left.

How are you doing with the Tadoku challenge, if you’re doing it? Read anything interesting? Let me know! 🙂

  1. “A Little Princess” 的中文名字是“小公主”吗?
Now I’m reading “A orillas del río Piedra me senté y lloré” by Paulo Coelho. I bought both Spanish and English versions and read them side by side. Right now I can only read 3 or 4 pages each time.
